If you happen to be a fan of the manga/anime series Naruto, you might enjoy a new Podcast that a few friends of mine (Brad, Tyler, Aldrine & Ryan) have created. It’s titled “Ichiraku Ramen” and it follows the Japanese version of the series. They plan on doing weekly podcasts so check them out and subscribe HERE.

This is UNREAL, an artist actually painting with french fries as paint brushes and ketchup as paint… Out of humor, he paints a picture from the movie “Supersize Me”

Found these sweet Diesel watches online:

The time is 8:15pm on a Monday night… usually about the time i’d be planted in front of my TV watching the latest episode of Heroes BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO for some reason new episodes of Heroes aren’t gonna be airing until April 23rd! (over a month from now?!)… WTF?!

I was on the Apple website the other day and i ended up watching the 2-hour Keynote of Steve Jobs (Apple’s CEO) presenting the iPhone for the first time and i was blown away by a few features i was unaware of prior to watching the presentation:

1). VISUAL VOICEMAIL – This feature allows you to see your voice messages the way you’d see text messages in your inbox. In other words, you don’t have to call the number, enter your pin, listen to new messages and press 7 to erase or 9 to save. The messages are right there on your phone and you can listen to any message in any order with the push of a button. Unreal, i know. Why didn’t someone think of this earlier?!

2). GOOGLE MAPS – As if a full working version if Safari isn’t enough, Apple added Google Maps to their arsenal of iPhone aps. With this version of Google Maps you can find directions and locations on the fly AND also SEE everything the way you would on Google Earth. So basically… you have Google Maps + Google Earth on your phone!

3). CALL CONFERENCING – I know i probably won’t rely on this feature too much but it’s a really cool one nonetheless. On most phones, call conferencing is done by:

Calling the first party.

Putting them on hold.

Calling the next party.

And finally, connecting the two.

You can do that with the iPhone but you can also connect a call-waiting caller into a 3-way call. In other words, i can be talking to my friend Aldrine then receive a call from my girlfriend at the same time and connect the two onto the same call. Pretty cool huh?

These are just a few more reasons why i can’t wait to get my hands on an iPhone!

I know, i know… I said i’d blog at least once a day but my hands have been full moving into the new apartment and my PowerBook is STILL acting up… for some reason it won’t work unless the AC is plugged in and even then it turns off of me randomly. I can’t wait to upgrade to a 17″ MacBook Pro (when i can afford it).

Anyway, the past few days have been semi-productive for me. We’re still in the process of moving out of the old house and into this apartment so that’s been the main focus but besides that there was a sports carnival at Aloha Stadium that we checked out on Friday and Sunday night. My girlfriend had a blast on both nights, she goes crazy for those rides and caramel apples. I just stood around with my cousin’s boyfriend while my Jaisa and my cousin had their fun hehe. Anyone who knows me knows that i can’t handle rides whatsoever. I guess rides are one of my few fears. That makes two total, rides and centipedes.

Hmm… as for today, i pretty much just spent my day at the apartment sorting some boxes out, watching DVDs and killing time on my comp (as usual). I’m super bummed that Heroes isn’t on till next month… WTF?! I guess i have no excuse not to go to Open Mic w/ Aldrine hehe. Maybe next week.

Today was a very productive day. My good friend Brandon helped me move the beds into the new apartment and Lea & Darin helped with a load too. The hardest part of moving is out of the way and the only big things left are the TV & stand (which i GOTTA have moved by tonight so I can play Xbox360 haha) and the dining table & sofa (that can wait till tomorrow hehe). It should be cool sleeping in our new place for the first time.

Living in this million dollar home was nice while it lasted. I’ve learned a lot from sharing living space with 7 other people and whoever said “you don’t know a person till you live with them” hit the nail on the head. Despite the dramas and craziness, I think i’m gonna miss living with my friends. My days won’t be as interesting without the sound of loud ass footsteps, girls screaming and Boolah & Mister (my roommates dogs). Thank GOD i don’t have to clean up after everyone anymore! woo hoo!

What am i doing? I gotta get back to work!

Apple’s first iPhone commercial that first aired during the Oscars:

Apple cleverly put together a montage of famous movie characters answering the phone and saying “hello,” which is the slogan for the iPhone campaign. After watching this commercial I felt that much closer to owning my own. June… can’t wait!

Here’s a cool video i found on YouTube:

These guys at www.acidmods.com have created a way to play the PSP with a PS2 controller. It kinda defeats the ‘portable’ aspect of the PSP but it’s cool nonetheless. Check out their website for some other crazy mods.

If you’re a Heroes fan like i am, you’ll find this website useful.
