Well, I’m pretty proud that my roommates and I participated this year, although we started a couple minutes late. It was pretty crazy showering by candlelight but it was all for a good cause. I think a few of my neighbors participated as well. Hopefully Earth Hour made a difference.
I’ve been hooked on acai bowls for a little under a year now and i HIGHLY recommend you try it if you haven’t already had a chance. Acai (pronounced ahh-Sigh-ee) is a purple berry that is only found in the Amazon jungle and is harvested primarily by an American company called Sambazon.
The berry is sold in small frozen packets that are usually blended with soy milk or apple juice and topped with granola, strawberries and bananas. It is SUPER healthy and is supposed to have even MORE anti-oxidants than pomegranates! Not only is it good for you, it also tastes unbelievably good! I’m serious… you have to experience Acai for yourself. I PROMISE you will be hooked and you’ll be turning friends onto it in no time.
If you’re on Oahu i highly recommend Diamond Head Cove, Kokonuts and Lanikai Juice for your Acai bowl needs. If anyone knows any other good places in the area let me know!

It’s official! you can now find Pepsi Ice Cucumber on the shelves of supermarkets throughout Japan, though for a limited time only.
I don’t know about you but i want some of that green stuff!
