I’ve been living in Waikiki for almost 3 years now and I must say… This place has grown on me. At first, I was overwhelmed by the freedom and easy access to everything (especially for people like myself who don’t have drive) but I think it’s something about the noise and crowds that comforts me – makes me feel warm. For someone my age, there are tons of nightlife options nearby as well as great places to shop & eat. It’s almost like living in a mall. Still… I find myself missing Kauai and I’m sure I’ll end up back on my island eventually. For now, I’ll make the best of this concrete jungle and be sure to steer clear of the Ala Wai lol
It’s 2:10am and I can’t sleep.
I’m watching “Drillbit Taylor”, Writing lists with “Word” and looking up BMWs online. I’ve realized I can’t ever just watch a movie on my computer. ADD?
It’s 3:04 and the movie just finished.
It wasn’t bad… Better than cable, for sure. Speaking of cable, I’m relaxed on my bed watching “The Ex-Effect” on MTV. Just about all reality shows on MTV seem fake and full of the same shit over and over. Still can’t sleep… I think I need to get back into the tea-before-bed routine or something. Anything but sleeping pills… The last thing I need is more medication.
Let’s see if I can fall asleep
Technology is crazy… I’m actually writing this blog from my iPhone thanks to the new WordPress App in the AppStore. Did I mention the WordPress app is FREE?! That means I’ll be able blog easily and consequently I’ll be blogging waaay more often.
Consider this post a test. Let’s see what this bad boy can do!
