I know, i know… I said i’d blog at least once a day but my hands have been full moving into the new apartment and my PowerBook is STILL acting up… for some reason it won’t work unless the AC is plugged in and even then it turns off of me randomly. I can’t wait to upgrade to a 17″ MacBook Pro (when i can afford it).
Anyway, the past few days have been semi-productive for me. We’re still in the process of moving out of the old house and into this apartment so that’s been the main focus but besides that there was a sports carnival at Aloha Stadium that we checked out on Friday and Sunday night. My girlfriend had a blast on both nights, she goes crazy for those rides and caramel apples. I just stood around with my cousin’s boyfriend while my Jaisa and my cousin had their fun hehe. Anyone who knows me knows that i can’t handle rides whatsoever. I guess rides are one of my few fears. That makes two total, rides and centipedes.
Hmm… as for today, i pretty much just spent my day at the apartment sorting some boxes out, watching DVDs and killing time on my comp (as usual). I’m super bummed that Heroes isn’t on till next month… WTF?! I guess i have no excuse not to go to Open Mic w/ Aldrine hehe. Maybe next week.
Today was a very productive day. My good friend Brandon helped me move the beds into the new apartment and Lea & Darin helped with a load too. The hardest part of moving is out of the way and the only big things left are the TV & stand (which i GOTTA have moved by tonight so I can play Xbox360 haha) and the dining table & sofa (that can wait till tomorrow hehe). It should be cool sleeping in our new place for the first time.
Living in this million dollar home was nice while it lasted. I’ve learned a lot from sharing living space with 7 other people and whoever said “you don’t know a person till you live with them” hit the nail on the head. Despite the dramas and craziness, I think i’m gonna miss living with my friends. My days won’t be as interesting without the sound of loud ass footsteps, girls screaming and Boolah & Mister (my roommates dogs). Thank GOD i don’t have to clean up after everyone anymore! woo hoo!
What am i doing? I gotta get back to work!
Today we get the keys to our new apartment in Waikiki and begin moving out of the Hawaii Kai house. For those of you who may have read this blog a few months ago, the huge 5Bd/3Bth house that we were living in wasn’t working out and we all agreed to find our own places and move out by this month.
So… my cousin, my girlfriend and i decided to split a 2Bd apartment close to town. We searched the internet and found a few nice spots and after a handful of showings we picked a nice 2Bd apartment in Waikiki, right off the Ala Wai. It’s convenient, spacious, newly remodeled with new everything and overall the best apartment of the bunch. As i type this, Jaisa and Angel are finishing up the paperwork/payments and we’ll be able to start moving by this evening, though i’ll save it for tomorrow because HEROES is on tonight and i’m feeling lazy hehe.
We’ve only been at this house since December and it’s gonna be a bitch having to move everything all over again… I can handle though. Hopefully by Wednesday/Thursday we can get everything settled in and start sleeping there. One thing we still have to do is clean this entire house so they can inspect it and make sure we didn’t damage anything. HAH. If anything, this house damaged US both financially and emotionally LOL. Honestly, i think MTV could’ve sent us a camera crew and used us for a reality show because in 4 short months this house generated more drama than Laguna Beach, The Hills AND Maui Fever combined! Stupid Maui Fever… aghh i won’t even…
I can’t wait to be back in Waikiki!
Okay, so I’ve decided to commit myself to blogging at least once a day for two reasons:
1). I used to keep a daily journal back in High School (aww cute… i know) and it helped me express myself when nothing else seemed to do the trick. Also, it helped me clear my head and organize my thoughts which lead to creativity.
2). I’ve always wanted to be a part of the Blog World, even if I’m not as witty or as great of a writer as a lot of bloggers out there. I have a lot of stuff on my mind and even if no one ever reads/comments my blog I’ll know I’ve contributed my thoughts to the World.
Hopefully my ADD doesn’t get the best of me…
